At Sky Sound, we believe film is a extraordinary medium to communicate our vision, ideas, and inspiration, not to mention providing sheer entertainment. Sky Sound is currently developing it's film division to produce, direct, and musically score projects. Sky Sound has initiated some short documentary and internet video projects as some of the early steps in this process. Soon, Sky Sound intends to extend into the creation and production of full-length independent films, ultimately, expanding to feature films.

Sky Sound produced a short documentary from a combination of images depicting the journey of African Americans in the United States from slavery to the present, culminating in the historic election of the first African American president. This short was created and scored by Matthew "Sky" Osborne. He sought to share his emotions and connections to the African American experience in the hopes of imparting awareness, inspiration, and knowledge to others. All the images you see remain with the original copyrights holders and Sky Sound has earned no profit from the project.

Sky Sound is in the development stages of producing an independent film. The story is set in Chicago, Illinois. The plot revolves around a crime family's rise and fall within the context of modern societal demands. Currently, Sky Sound is developing a short prelude to this film titled VanZyl...

Khaldun VanZyl is a wildly successful, an astoundingly wealthy, and a coldblooded business man. His net worth is estimated to be in the tens of billions. He owns 38 registered business, including multi-national corporations, roller-skating rinks, celebrity management firms, asset management firms, among many others. He is one of the most powerful men in the world, a close associate and advisor of many of the world's leaders.

The VanZyl Empire was established hundreds of years ago, and has achieved its stature through any means necessary. Callousness has been required and forced upon each generation to uphold the Empire.

Each generation of VanZyl sons and daughters have carried this legacy, most with immense pleasure and entitlement, and a few with suffocating guilt and regret. Khaldun's health is fading, and his only son, Jonathon Tarik VanZyl, is left to control the Empire. A street smart and savvy business man, Jonathon has already taken the reins in many of the family's new business endeavors as well as dabbled in the more unsavory side of VanZyl power. Jonathon is driving to Dallas, Texas for one night to close a multimillion dollar business deal.
